Test 20 - Audible Warning Output Open Circuit

Disconnect connector LB14 (-).

Short circuit LB14-15 (-) female to ground.

Check if audible warning exists.

If yes, fault in C.P.U. or connector LB14 (-).

If no, test LB58-2 (-) for short circuit to ground.

If not ground, fault is open circuit bulkhead harness.

If ground, disconnect ground on LB14-15 (-).

Test LB58-15 (-) for short circuit to ground.

If not ground, fault is open circuit in bulkhead harness.

If ground, test LB58-7 (-) for normal battery voltage.

If normal battery voltage does not exist, fault is open circuit in bulkhead harness.
TEST 20 - AUDIBLE WARNING OUTPUT OPEN CIRCUIT

If normal battery voltage exists, test LB58-4 (-) for short circuit to ground.

If not ground, fault is open circuit in bulkhead harness.

If ground, test using JDS for seat belt audible warnings.
