Test 6 - Belt Proximity Switch Short Circuit

Test LB86-10 (LB86-11) for short circuit to ground.

If not ground, test passed.

If ground, disconnect the passive restraint module.

Test LB86-10 (LB86-11) male for short circuit to ground.

If not ground, fault is short circuit in the passive restraint module.
TEST 6 - BELT PROXIMITY SWITCH SHORT CIRCUIT

If ground, disconnect LB106 (LB105) and repeat short circuit test.

If not ground, fault is short circuit belt proximity switch.

If ground, fault is short circuit in the bulkhead harness.


NOTE: Normal battery voltage exists when voltage at test point is within .5V of voltage measured at bulkhead harness.
