Fig. 17 Air Pump Service:

1. Loosen the adjusting arm adjusting nuts, the adjusting arm pivot bolt, and the air pump pivot bolt, Fig. 17.
2. Rotate the adjusting arm adjusting nuts until the belt tension is such that a force of 6.4 lbs. (2.9 kg) deflects the belt .22 inches (5.6 mm).
3. Tighten the adjusting arm nuts, pivot bolt, and the air pump pivot bolt.
