Coupe
1. Open the luggage compartment.
2. Remove the spare wheel and compartment floor carpet.
3. Release the turn fasteners and remove the battery cover.
4. Disconnect the battery.
5. Displace and remove right-hand front side liner.
6. Release the retaining clip and remove right-hand rear liner.
7. Displace the front carpet trim from the battery/fuel tank area.
8. Displace the relays from mounting on the right-hand compartment light mounting panel (hockey stick).
9. Remove the ECU mounting nuts and displace connected ECU from hockey stick panel.
10. Remove the hockey stick upper securing nuts and front and rear screws.
11. Release vehicle harness from hockey stick clips, disconnect compartment light and relay connections and remove hockey stick.
12. Locate the 2 p.s.i. valve situated at the top right-hand corner of the fuel tank and installed between the steel vapor pipe and the vapor separator.
13. Release the securing clips from the hoses installed to either side of the valve and remove the valve (1, Fig 9). Ensure steel vapor pipe is not displaced from plastic "P" clip on boot bulkhead.
14. Install clamp CAC 8774 to existing stepped hose and clamp CAC 8772 to existing straight hose. Insert straight connector EBC 8593 (2, Fig 9) and reposition clamps to secure.
15. Visually inspect the fuel system for any sign of leakage, paying particular attention to the fuel tank area and underlying insulation pad, which if contaminnted may indicate sign of fuel tank leakage. Should further rectification be necessary this should be ccmpleted in lirle with normal practice.
16. Reposition vehicle harness to clips, reconnect compartment light and relay connections and install hockey stick to vehicle. Reposition relays to mounting bracket.
17. Reposition ECU to hockey stick mounting and refit securing nuts.
18. Reposition forward carpet trim to fuel tank area.
19. Reposition and secure right-hand front side liner.
20. install rear right-hand liner, compartment floor carpet and spare wheeel.
21. Reconnect battery and install battery cover.
NOTE: Adhere a completed R351 Campaign Completion Identification Label to the rearmost crossbrace on the underside of the hood.
