ISSUE:

XJS Convertible fuel level transmitters have been supplied under three part numbers, DAC 6103, DAC 10183 and JLM 10644. These units are interchangeable, except that the wire terminal positions are different. Incorrect wiring will result in an "Empty" fuel gauge reading.


NOTE: DAC 10183 is identified by a red dot on the outer face of the unit.


ACTION:





When replacing the fuel level transmitter, the wires must be positioned as indicated in Fig. 1:


Terminal Wire Colors
Position DAC 6103: DAC 10183 & JLM 10644:

A light green/orange light green/orange

B brown/pink black

C black brown/pink
