Brakes - ABS Combined Pressure Switch - Relay Replacement

ISSUE:

Replacement of the ABS Combined Pressure Warning Switch.


ACTION:

When replacing the Combined Pressure Warning Switch, the Motor Pump Relay MUST also be replaced.

If the pressure warning switch has failed, the following conditions may occur:


Motor Pump Unit

Operates continuously or fails to operate.


Brake Warning Light / ABS Warning Light

Remain illuminated after initial bulb check and/or:

- All braking normal.

- Fault code 61 is stored in ECU.

- The warning light fails to illuminate during low pressure charge cycle.
