The following information should be used as a guideline for repairing vehicle driveline vibration conditions.

To determine the cause of driveline/propshaft vibration and/or shudder, the following test and repair procedures should be performed. Before any adjustments are made, however, ensure that all couplings are in good condition and that all flange and mounting bolts are tight.



The following chart should be used to determine which test/repair procedure should be used:
NOTE: These procedures are intended to match the propshaft to a vehicle. A new propshaft which does not eliminate the vibration condition on one vehicle should be saved, as it may eliminate the condition on another vehicle.
