Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

Depressurize the fuel system.

Disconnect the battery earth lead.

Remove the spare wheel cover and the spare wheel. Fit clamps to the filter inlet and outlet hoses.

Disconnect the fuel filter hoses (1).

Fit plugs to the disconnected hoses and to the filter.

Slacken the filter securing clamp screw (2) and remove the filter (3).

Refitting a new filter is the reversal of the above operations ensuring the hoses are secure and do not leak.
