Re: H-342 - 1990 XJ6 (All Variations) Coolant Hose - Heater Return to Water Pump

A number of vehicles within the VIN range 599588 to 600357 have been built with a poorly vulcanized heater coolant return hose. The factory has identified specific vehicles within this VIN range that require revised hose installation. Dealers will be provided with lists of allotted vehicles that are affected. The vehicles on these lists are the only vehicles that require revised hose installation. Parts for these specific vehicles will be automatically shipped (chargeable) to your dealership.

Under no circumstances should an affected vehicle allocated to your dealership be sold to the public or traded/sold to another dealership without first having the revised heater coolant return hose installed.
