Fuel Pump Relay: Description and Operation

Fuel Pump Relay:

PURPOSE
Fuel pump relay controls operation of fuel pump.

OPERATION
Relay is energized by ECU control for one or two seconds when ignition is switched on, during engine cranking, and while engine is running. If engine stops with ignition switch on, ECU will interrupt circuit to fuel pump relay.

LOCATION
Located in right side of trunk near ECU.
