Fig. 14 Wiper Motor & Grille Assembly:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove wiper arms.
2. Remove air inlet grille retaining nuts, bolts and washers, Fig. 14.
3. Raise grille which is attached to wiper assembly.
4. Disconnect washer tube at jet and disconnect multiplug connector at bulkhead.
5. Remove grille and wiper assembly.
6. Remove nuts securing motor mounting bracket to grille, then remove bolts securing bracket to motor. Remove bracket.
7. Turn grille-motor assembly over and remove gearbox spindle nuts.
8. Invert grille-motor assembly again, then remove motor and drive rack assembly.
9. Remove rack cover plate retaining bolts. Lift off cover and remove rack assembly.
10. Remove motor shroud and disconnect harness at gearbox connector.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
