"Squeal":
If light braking is applied continuously in dry and dusty conditions, the pad surface can become hard, resulting in brake squeal. If a repair is necessary, ONLY the following operation should be performed (at the customers expense):
^ Clean all dust from the brake discs and pads (especially the pad/piston contact area).
^ Using 180-220 grit sand paper on a flat surface, lightly sand the pad friction face.
^ Add 1/8" chamfer to the leading edge of tbe pads.
^ Clean all debris from pads and install pads.
CAUTION: Always use a vacuum brush to remove dry brake lining dust. Never use an air line.
