Multimeter Mode

Changes to the multimeter mode have been made due to the changes required for on screen measurement display. The display has been simplified in line with the display used during diagnostics. All measurements are now displayed in major units, i.e., Volts, Amps, Ohms and Hertz. Both voltage and current measurements are now displayed to two decimal places instead of three.

Two new multimeter options have been added. These are frequency measurement and pulse recognition.

FREQUENCY MEASUREMENT

Range = 1Hz to 32 kHz Resolution = 1 Hz Accuracy = +/- Hz

PULSE RECOGNITION

Range = 100 us to 1 second Resolution = 100 us Accuracy = +/- 100 us

The presence of a pulse is indicated by a check mark on the screen. If no pulse is present, the screen will display a cross mark (x).
