Fig.1 LH Side Trim Panel Replacement:
1. Remove steering wheel as follows:
a. Remove steering wheel securing nut.
b. Mark position of steering wheel, then remove from column.
c. Loosen steering wheel adjuster and telescope steering wheel to extreme position.
d. Remove steering column lower shroud and blanking plate.
e. Remove steering column upper shroud and column retaining bolt.
f. Remove steering column pinch bolt, then the steering wheel assembly.
2. Remove I/P side trim panels.
3. Remove driver side dash liner screws (1), (2), (3), Fig. 1, then carefully move liner downward.
4. Disconnect rheostat wires and trip cable, then remove dash liner.
5. Remove lamp switch control knob and I/P cluster trim panels.
6. Remove ignition switch and light switch trim panel screws, then slowly move trim panels forward.
7. Disconnect fiber optics and remove bezels.
8. Remove instrument cluster blanking plates and screws, then move clear of I/P.
9. Disconnect both block connectors and remove cluster.
10. Remove interior lamps and disconnect electrical connectors.

11. Remove lower passenger side dash liner (1 and 2), Fig. 2.
12. Remove glove compartment assembly.

13. Remove switch trim bezel, then disconnect block connectors, bulb holders and clock connections, Fig. 3.
14. Remove A/C control panel bezels, then the panel.
15. Remove I/P retaining screws, located behind A/C control panel.
16. Loosen I/P nuts, side nuts/bolts and light switch nut. Remove light switch from mounting bracket.
17. Remove I/P from vehicle.
18. Reverse procedure to install.
