Idle Speed

NOTE: If high idle speed cannot be lowered to the specified level, thoroughly check all pipes and hoses to intake manifolds for possible leaks.

1. Warm engine to operating temperature.
2. Ensure that throttle linkage and return springs are properly installed and in good condition.
3. Start engine and run for 2 - 3 minutes.
4. Idle speed should be 750 rpm ± 25 rpm. If not, adjust supplementary air valve screw until specified speed is reached. Valve is under side of left intake manifold near throttle body.
