Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

RENEW

Depressurize the fuel system.

Disconnect the fuel cooler to regulator hose from the regulator.

Plug the hose and the regulator to prevent contamination.

Remove the nut securing the regulator to the mounting bracket.

Disconnect regulator to fuel rail hose from the fuel rail. Plug the hose and fuel rail.

Displace the regulator from the mounting bracket for access.

Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the regulator and remove the regulator.

Refitting a new regulator is the reversal of the above operations ensuring all fuel and vacuum pipe connections are secure and tight.
