Ignition Ht Coil (Lower)

IGNITION HT COIL(LOWER)

RENEW

Open the boot and disconnect the battery earth lead.

Open the bonnet.

Remove the upper coil.

Remove the bolts securing the lower HT coil mounting bracket.

Displace the cable harness 'P' clips from the HT coil mounting bracket.

Displace the HT coil assembly upwards.

Disconnect the multi-plug connector.

Disconnect the HT lead. Remove the bolts securing the HT coil to mounting bracket.

Remove the HT coil.

Fit the new coil, fit and tighten the bolts.

Connect the HT lead and multi-plug.

Fit the 'P' clips. Refit the upper coil.

Connect the battery earth lead.
