Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

1. Disarm airbag as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Mark position of steering wheel for installation.
3. Loosen steering wheel nut and remove steering wheel.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque steering wheel nut to 26-33 ft. lbs.
b. Torque airbag module nut to 7-9 ft. lbs.
