Oil Pump: Service and Repair

1. Remove oil pan as described under OIL PAN.
2. Remove oil transfer housing, then the oil pick-up tubes.
3. Push lock tabs back from oil pump sprocket bolts and remove oil pump sprocket.
4. Remove oil pump bolts and oil pump.
5. Remove oil pressure relief valve cap, spring, tube and valve.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications.
