ISSUE:

Rear shock absorber leaks.

ACTION:

New rear shocks (CCC 6923) were introduced on 1993 MY Sedans and are available for repairs to pre-93 MY Sedans.

When replacing rear shocks on vehicles prior to 1993 MY, both shocks should be replaced as a pair. Do not replace them individually.

If a new shock (CCC 6923) requires repair, only replace the faulty shock if the mileage of the shocks is less than 25,000 miles.

If the mileage is more than 25,000 miles, replace both shocks.
