ISSUE:
Windshield wiper blade streaking/smearing.
ACTION:
To prevent wiper blade streaking/smearing, windshield wiper arm (DBC 10809) and wiper blade (DBC 10808) were introduced at VIN 657725.
NOTE:
Wiper blade DBC 10808 is not interchangeable with its predecessor. A revised wiper blade (DBC 11436) is available for vehicles up to VIN 657724. It supersedes DBC 1917.
For customer complaints of windshield wiper streaking/smearing on vehicles up to VIN 657724, repair as follows:
^ Clean the windshield using Vin-Dotco (JAG 150).
^ Refill the washer fluid reservoir with a solution of washer fluid additive P21S, (JAG 151).
^ Install wiper blade DBC 11436.
