ISSUE:

Cruise control set speed varies or there is a noticeable delay in the response time once the set speed is selected.

ACTION:





Check that the freeplay between the end of the throttle link slot (Fig. 1 A) and the vacuum actuator shouldered bolt (Fig. 1 B) is 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm (Fig. 1 C) before continuing with further diagnosis.
