1. Remove one road wheel nut and mark the stud to wheel relationship. Remove the remaining nuts and remove the road wheel.2. Remove the spring clips (1) securing the brake pad retaining pins (2); withdraw the retaining pins.
3. Remove the anti-rattle springs (3) and withdraw the brake pads (4).
NOTE: Reduce the level of fluid in the reservoir before fitting new brake pads.

4. Lever the caliper pistons into the cylinder bores using Girling tool 64932392 (Figs 1 & 2).
5. Install the new brake pads into the caliper. Fit the upper retaining pin.
6. Install the lower retaining pin through the first pad only.
7. Install the outer and inner anti-rattle springs. Push home the lower retaining pin.
8. Install the spring securing clips. Install the road wheel by aligning the wheel with the marked stud. Tighten the wheel nuts to 88 to 102 NM (65.1 to 75.5 ft lb).
9. Top up the brake fluid reservoir.
10. Start and run the engine. Apply the brake pedal several times until the pedal travel feels solid.
