STEP 6: Convertible -

DOOR GLASS DOES NOT SLIDE FREELY IN CHANNEL:

^ Disengage the regulator assembly from the glass.

^ Move the glass up and down. If movement is restricted, inspect the channel for distortion and replace if necessary.

^ Make sure that the glass does not jam on the underside of the plastic cheater panel. Trim the lower corner of the cheater panel if necessary.

^ Install components and a new seal. Adjust the channel so the glass moves freely.

^ Install motor and regulator assembly. Check window operation.
