ISSUE:

A new steering rack (CCC 6007/N) is incorporated on 1993 MY Sedan Range vehicles from VIN 671806. This rack can not be installed on pre-93 MY vehicles.

Replacement racks of the new design are supplied with a centralization tool fitted to the rack.

ACTION:

When the replacement rack has been installed and the alignment set to the correct specification, the centralization tool must be removed and discarded.

Install a screw (JZS 100046) and washer (JZW 100019) in the hole that the tool was located in.
