Valve Cover Gasket: Service and Repair

Remove the distributor cap and leads assembly.
Disconnect the camcover breather hose.

Camshaft Cover:

Remove the camcover to cylinder head securing screws(1).
Remove the camcover (2).
Remove and discard the cam cover gasket (3), and half moon seals (4).
Clean the cam cover and cylinder head.
Fit new half moon seals to the cylinder head.
Fit a new gasket to the cylinder head.
Refit the camcover.
Fit and tighten the camcover securing screws.
Reconnect the breather hose.
Refit the distributor cap and leads.
