Crankshaft Position Timing Ring: Service and Repair

Crankshaft Position Timing Ring:

- Remove the crankshaft pulley/damper assembly.
- Remove the CKPTR to damper securing bolts and displace the CKPTR from the damper.
- Remove and discard the roll pin.
- Clean the crank damper assembly.
- Fit the new roll pin to the damper assembly.
- Align the new CKPTR with the roll pin on the damper assembly, refit and tighten the CKPTR to damper securing bolts.
- Clean the crankshaft nose.
- Reassemble the crankshaft damper assembly.
