Voltage Signal: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Permits PCME adjustment of injector ON time to compensate for electrical system voltage fluctuations.

OPERATION
Because time needed for injectors to open is affected by voltage and results in a corresponding change in quantity of fuel delivered, the PCME constantly monitors electrical system voltages and compensates for fluctuations by adjusting injector ON time accordingly. Voltage input is from the main relay.
