Underfloor Converter:

Disassembly
- Remove the five bolts (1) which retain the heatshield (2) to the underfloor catalytic converter assembly.
- Remove the heatshield.
- Remove the locking nut (3) which secures the mounting rod (4) to the support.
- Remove the mounting rod and insulating collars

Cleaning and Inspection
- For parts which are intended for re-use, clean the sealing faces, clamps and olives; inspect for cracks and deep pitting.
- Renew as necessary.
- Obtain new locking nuts prior to assembly.

Underfloor Converter:

Reassembly
- Reposition the heatshield (2).
- Fit the five bolts (1) which retain the heat-shield to the underfloor catalytic converter assembly.
- Fit an insulating collar (5) to the threaded end of the mounting rod (4) and fit the mounting rod to the support, threaded end to the front of the vehicle.
- Fit the insulating collar and locking nut (3) which secures the mounting rod to the support.
