Knee Diverter: Description and Operation

A driver side knee bolster and steel armature backing, replaces the underscuttle pad found on non air-bag vehicles. Although similar in appearance to the non 'SRS' underscuttle pad, the knee bolster is of a different construction to work as part of the occupant restraint system.
