Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

Air Cleaner Housing:

- Open the bonnet and fit wing protection. Remove the intake elbow mounting nut for access.
- Release the filter assembly to air mass meter retaining clips (1).
- Slacken the filter assembly to intake tube securing clip (2).
- Remove the upper wing nut (3) from the filter assembly mounting.
- Slacken but do not remove the lower wing nut.
- Displace and remove the air box assembly (4).
- Remove and discard the filter to air mass meter O-ring seal.
- Release the end cover retaining clips.
- Displace the cover and remove the element retaining plate.
- Remove the element.
- Use a new O-ring seal and reverse the above procedure when replacing the air cleaner assembly.
