Clutch Fluid: Service and Repair
1. Ensure fluid reservoir is filled to correct level.2. Attach one end of a bleed tube to slave cylinder bleed screw.
3. Partially fill a clean container with hydraulic fluid. Place other end of bleed tube in container.
4. Loosen slave cylinder bleed screw, then pump clutch pedal slowly, pausing between each stroke.
5. Add fluid as necessary after every three pedal strokes. Do not add fluid bled from the system to the reservoir.
6. Continue pumping clutch pedal until pedal becomes firm, then tighten bleed screw.
7. Check fluid level, then install reservoir cap. Apply pressure to clutch pedal for 2-3 minutes and inspect system for leaks.
