HOSE - Remote Header Tank to Atmospheric Tank

REMOTE HEADER TANK TO ATMOSPHERIC TANK


CAUTION: Do not remove the pressure cap at the remote header tank unless the engine is cold.






Open the bonnet and fit wing protection.
Release and remove the pressure cap.
Release the securing clip and disconnect the hose (1 Fig. 1) from the neck of the remote headertank. Raise and support the front right-hand of the vehicle. Remove the front right-hand road wheel. Remove the securing screws, displace and remove the wheel arch rear liner to access the atmospheric catchment tank.

Withdraw the hose from the grommet in the top of the catchment tank.

Lubricate the replacement hose and insert into the grommet in the tank.

Pass the hose through the grommet in the inner wing and connect to the headertank, reposition clip to secure. Refit the wheel arch liner.

Refit the road wheel, lower the vehicle and fully tighten the wheel. Refit the pressure cap. Remove wing protection and close the bonnet.
