Caster and Camber
Caster
Caster angle is adjusted by loosening the four upper control to ball joint nuts and installing shims from one side of the ball joint to the opposite side. Placing the front shims to the rear position decreases caster angle, while placing rear shims to the front position increases caster. Rate of caster angle change is approximately 1/4° for each 1/16 inch (1.6mm) shim.
Camber
Camber angle is adjusted by loosening the two nuts holding the end of the upper control arm away from the ball joint at the trunnion. Add or remove an equal number of shims from both spots. Removing shims decreases camber angle, while adding shims increases camber angle. The rate of camber angle change is approximately 1/4° for 1/16 inch (1.6mm) shim.
