Clutch: Adjustments

These models are equipped with a self-adjusting clutch mechanism. Therefore, no adjustments are necessary. Anytime clutch hydraulic lines are disconnected for servicing clutch assembly components, the entire system must be bled using the following procedure.
1. Attach one end of bleed tube to slave cylinder bleed nipple and immerse other end of tube in container of clean, suitable brake fluid.
2. Loosen slave cylinder bleed nipple and pump clutch pedal slowly up and down, pausing between each stroke.
3. Continue this operation until all air bubbles are removed from system.
4. Fill reservoir to proper level, then replace reservoir cap.
