Rear Hub and Bearing Replace

Fig.2 Rear Hub Carrier Separation:

1. Remove rear hub assembly from vehicle as described under "Hub Carrier Assembly, Replace".
2. Using hub press tool No. JD132-1, or equivalent, align hub assembly to press, Fig.1 . Ensure parking brake expander is located in tool cut out.
3. Insert hub press button tool No. JD132-2, or equivalent, into hub assembly, Fig. 2.
4. Using a press, separate and remove hub from carrier.
5. Remove press tools from hub, then remove outer hub seal and bearing with a punch.
6. Reposition hub and remove inner hub seal and bearing with a punch.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications.
