Upper Control Arm

1. Raise and support front of vehicle. Position camber tie down tool No. JD 133 or equivalent, to front suspension and lower vehicle.
2. Engage and fully seat dowels to suspension turret. Tighten tool to compress spring assembly.
3. Raise front of vehicle and support on axle stands.
4. Remove upper ball joint securing bolts. Note position of and remove caster shims.
5. Secure hub assembly to suspension.

6. Remove upper control arm pivot bolt/nut (1), Fig. 3.
7. Remove pivot bolt (3) for access to remove control arm assembly.
8. Remove rear control arm assembly, then remove pivot bolt and remove front control arm assembly.
9. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications.
