When submitting claims for engine set-up adjustments as a result of a driveability complaint, use the following fault coding guidelines.
- If a component has been replaced as part of the repair, fault code to the defective component.
- If no components are replaced in conjunction with the engine set-up adjustments, use the following fault and defect codes:
Fault Code - 1st
Defect Codes = (See below)
Any settings found to be outside of the service limits must be noted in the claim comments section.
Claims that do not conform to the above guidelines will be returned for proper resubmission.
