ISSUE:

State illumination of the master lighting switch does not function as described in the Drivers Handbook. Speed control panel illumination is not explained in the Drivers Handbook.

ACTION:

If customers complain of malfunctions in the master lighting switch or speed control panel illumination, verify the operation as described below.

WARNING:
Jaguar does not recommend fitting bulbs to the unused bulb holders behind the master lighting switch and speed control panels due the concern of reflections in the side windows.

The headlight indicator on the light switch panel is not illuminated at any time.

The red light, indicated in Illustration 2, is illuminated when the speed control is on. No other state illumination is provided for on the speed control panel.
