Vacuum Vent Valve: Service and Repair

VACUUM DUMP VALVE
- Open the bonnet and fit wing protection.
- Remove the relay mounting bracket upper and lower securing bolts situated left-hand inner wing.





- Reposition the relay mounting bracket for access (1 Fig. 1).
- Release the dump valve harness tie wrap. Disconnect the vacuum hose (2 Fig. 1) from the dump valve.
- Disconnect the harness multi-plug (3 Fig. 1).
- Remove the valve securing nuts and remove the valve assembly (4 Fig. 1).
- Position and secure the replacement valve assembly with nuts.
- Connect the harness multi-plug and refit the vacuum hose.
- Secure harness with tie wrap.
- Reposition and secure relay mounting bracket.
- Remove wing covers and close bonnet.
