Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

Intake Air Temperature Sensor:

1. Open the hood and fit a wing cover.
2. Open the trunk and remove the battery cover.
3. Disconnect the battery ground lead.
4. Disconnect the multi-plug from the IAT sensor.
5. Undo and remove the IAT sensor and copper washer from the induction elbow.

NOTE: Refitting a new IAT sensor is the reverse of the removal procedure.
