Jaguar Cars will approve the use of electronic data archiving systems by the dealer body for the retention of documents that support warranty claim payments. To gain approval, a dealer system must meet the following criteria.
1. The dealer must continue to comply with all record keeping requirements as identified in Section H of the Jaguar Warranty Policy Manual.
2. All supporting documentation must be linked to the repair order and invoice, whether generated electronically or electronically scanned.
3. To facilitate warranty audits, the dealer must provide the following to the warranty auditor for the duration of any audit. A warranty audit may last up to two weeks.
^ A terminal with access to the data, or
^ A source to access the warranty data that is compatible with Jaguar equipment
^ A printer that is compatible with the data retrieval system
NOTE:
Quarterly, ADP will provide to Jaguar a list of Jaguar dealers that have purchased an electronic data archiving system.
