Heater Hose: Service and Repair

Heater Hose - 2.5L/3.0L/4.2L (80.25.01)

Removal

All vehicles
1. Carry out the cooling system drain procedure.
2. Remove the cowl vent screen.
3. Remove the engine compartment support.







All vehicles
1. Disconnect the heater hose from the heater core.







All vehicles
1. Disconnect the heater hose couplings.







2. Disconnect the heater hose.







3. Detach the heater hose assembly bracket.







4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. Remove the heater hose assembly retaining bolt.







6. Lower the vehicle. Remove the heater hose assembly.
7. Remove the heater hose assembly.

Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten to 7 Nm.







3. Tighten to 25 Nm.







4. Carry out the cooling system filling and bleeding procedure.
