Pre-Repair Activities
Bumper cover front

Consumables
None.

Mechanical, Electrical and Trim, remove and install:
Headlamp assembly (RH/LH) (6 x 8 mm bolt)
Front bumper side fixing (RH/LH) (6 x 10 mm bolts)
Headlamp Adjustment

MET Tools
8 mm socket
10 mm socket
3/8" Drive ratchet

Panel Tools
8 mm socket
10 mm socket
3/8" Drive ratchet
Torque wrench

01. The reinforcement is a category B bolt on panel.
Remove MET items as listed.
Complete 'Pre-Repair Activities'.







02. The panel is secured with bolts. Remove 11 x 8 mm bolts.
Remove 6 x 10 mm bolts that secure the 6 panel brackets, as indicated.

Note: Bolts are pre-coated to inhibit galvanic corrosion and are reusable-only if coating is undamaged.







03. Remove and fit new panel. Fit and re-trim panel in reverse order.

Torque settings:
- Fender to Reinforcement -2 x 10 mm bolts 10 Nm.







04. On completion of panel replacement, the following checks should be carried out:
1. Panel gaps.
2. Hinge operation.
3. Lock alignment.
4. MET operation.
