New Workshop Procedure - Engine Replacement





AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:

The procedure for replacing the engine has been revised.

^ XJ and XK models: it is no longer necessary to remove the radiator.

^ XK models only: it is no longer necessary to remove the exhaust system but to disconnect the exhaust system from the exhaust manifolds.

Action:

In the event it becomes necessary to replace the engine, follow the revised Repair Procedure outlined below.
