Alignment: Service and Repair


CAMBER
Camber is preset at the factory and is not adjustable. If the camber angle is not within specifications, replace the suspension components responsible for the incorrect angles.

CASTER
Caster is adjusted by adding or subtracting shims at the rear of the lower control arms.

TOE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust toe setting, center steering gear, then lock steering wheel to hold in position. Adjust right wheel toe setting by loosening clamp bolt and rotating center link connecting pitman arm to right wheel. Adjust left wheel toe setting by loosening clamp bolt and rotating the tie rod connecting the center link to the left wheel.
After adjustments are completed, position clamps as shown. Torque clamp bolts to 14 ft. lbs.
