Starter Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove support bracket to starter retaining bolt and washer.
3. Remove starter motor attaching bolts and the starter motor. Remove shims, if used.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Reinstall any shims that were removed.
