1. While holding throttle lever in the wide open position, apply closing pressure on choke valve and measure clearance between upper edge of choke valve and air horn.
2. If clearance is not with in limits, bend unloader tang which contacts fast idle cam. Bend tang toward cam to increase clearance and away from cam to decrease clearance, Fig. 6. Do not bend unloader tang downward to adjust clearance. After making adjustment, ensure unloader tang has at least .070 inch clearance from main body flange when throttle is in the wide open position, Fig. 7.
3. Operate throttle and check to ensure unloader tang is not binding or in contact with carburetor housing or linkage.
