Float Level Adjustment
Fig. 2 Float level adjustment:
1. Remove air horn and gasket from carburetor.
2. Invert air horn assembly and measure clearance from top of float to bottom edge of air horn using a float level gauge. When check float level, the float arm should be resting on the needle pin.
3. If clearance is not within limits, bend float arm as necessary to obtain correct float setting, Fig 2. Do not bend tab at end of float arm, as this will prevent float from touching bottom of fuel bowl when empty.
4. Install air horn and gasket.
