Wipers Do Not Park
1. On intermittent wiper systems, ensure module is connected securely to harnesses. If connections are satisfactory, proceed to step 3.
2. On all systems, inspect crank arm at motor for looseness. If crank arm is satisfactory, proceed to step 3. If motor shaft is damaged, replace wiper motor.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from wiper motor, then connect a jumper wire between black and white wire terminals on motor and apply battery voltage to red wire terminal.
4. If motor does not run to park position, replace motor.
5. If motor runs to park position and stops, check wiper switch continuity with ignition switch On and wiper switch in off position, between ground and light green wire with tracer and between white wire with tracer and tan wire with tracer.
6. If there is no wiper switch continuity, check connections between wiper motor and switch and repair as necessary. If connections are satisfactory, replace wiper switch.
